At Dupont Lightstone we produce a new screen technology which is based on concrete and fiber optics. Its a ground-breaking new type of digital signage that puts an interactive image directly on surfaces like floors, sidewalks or other exposed surfaces like facades at street level. By embedding optical fibers into the concrete and controlling the position of each of the fibers the image is projected through to the other side where it appears. Thousands of tiny light emitting fiber ends comprises the live image and the same fibers detect touching of the surface which makes the Lightstone interactive. Its vandalism and weather proof signage It can be used as a floor that you can walk across Its aesthetic signage that becomes a natural part of the buildings architecture. It has the power to surprise because the viewer doesn’t know that its a screen until a live image appears out of nowhere. The Lightstone is mainly used for showing information, advertising or graphic light effects both indoors and outdoors. Lightstone screens in floors, facades and even pavements make live signage in places like hotels, airports, night clubs, shopping malls and in traffic a lot more interesting and applicable. Dupont Lightstone welcomes you to the digital stone age.
